Do I have to sign a long contract to get a server?
No! There are no contracts. To keep it all simple you lease a server on a month-to-month basis. Of course if you wish you can always pay a year-in-advance and receive a 10% discount. Order here.

Yes! We have absolutely the best customer support on the Web. We understand that this is a brave new world and we are truly committed to helping you conquer it. Where are your servers located?
The Redglue headquarters are in Austin, Texas - The center of the backbone of the Internet. All Internet traffic must go through this area of the backbone and that is why we are located at the hotspot. We have multiple lines to the Internet, some of them specially installed for East & West coast and international traffic. Thus, the physical location of your web hosts' servers is irrelevant. As long as they have great services and support you should be fine. Redglue has both of these! We have future plans for installing remote servers in several key countries.


How do I get my files to you?
There are many ways! You can either use any FTP (WS_FTP/Cute FTP), Telnet, or our own Webnifty™ File Manager. You may also use the "Publish" feature of many popular web-design applications like: Netscape Composer, Netscape Navigator Gold, Net Objects Fusion, AOL Press, Frontpage, Delta Quick Site, Adobe Page/Site Mill, and many more!.


How long does it take to get my new server online?
We move fast! We guarantee that your server will be online and waiting for you to upload your files within 24 business hours of receiving payment.


Who can I get to help design my site?

Darn! That great domain name I wanted is already taken...
We feel your pain. However, a little creativity can go a long way and there are lots of great names left. Search here.


Who will register my domain name?
We will! The domain registration will cost $50 for two years. When we register (or transfer) your new domain, we will make you the "Administrative" and "Billing" contacts and Redglue the "Technical Contact". This way you have full control of your domain.


Do I still have to pay the registrar for my domain name?
If you are reserving a new domain name, the answer is yes. Currently we charge $50 for the first two years of registration. If you are transferring an existing domain name, there is no charge.


What is the process for transferring my domain?
Redglue will take care of most new and transfer request forms for you. If your domain is registered with Network Solutions, you will be sent an e-mail from the registrar asking you to accept the transfer request. Your current Web host will also receive this letter and may veto it. This is what we call the "hostile host" and you do have the authority to veto their veto (should the need arise). The prompt return of this registrar e-mail on both parties behalf is important. The only cost involved is the initial payment of the monthly server(if applys) and domain registration. Other than that you may have a period of downtime anywhere from 24-72 hours, depending on how fast the registrar is processing orders and how fast you can upload your files to your IP address (this is what you receive until the registrar has processed the domain registration). Also remember that the ISPs all over the world have to update the new changes in the registrar database. Most ISPs do this three times a day, some as little as once per week. This may attribute to a little domain-downtime as well. However your site will always be reachable via your IP address. In order to assure prompt transfer make sure your e-mail address with the registrar is correct. All of these factors included, give yourself a good week to get your domain up. Another good idea is to forewarn all participating parties of your moving by putting up a "We are moving" note on your existing home page with moving dates and a reminder note to hit "Reload" to refresh their cache to see the new page on the new server.


What if I want to upgrade? How? Do I pay?
Upgrading is free of charge unless you are switching to a DEDA (dedicated server).


Do I get RealAudio/RealVideo?
Yes with the VS MID option or higher.


Do you support Frontpage?
Yes! Specify on Step 3 of the orderform that you would like Frontpage Extensions and we will take care of it for you.


How can I check on the status of my order?
Send an e-mail here and be sure to include your order confirmation number.


Can I get a secure server for credit card processing?
Yes! We offer a 5 MB secure (SSL) server for an added fee. You can use this for secure order forms, databases, secure credit card transactions, or anything else you wish. To order SSL be sure to select the checkbox called "SSL" in the Server Add-ons part of the orderform.


I want Auto Responders!
You get 1 Auto Responder with our VS MINI option and unlimited Auto Responders with our VS MEGA and higher options. Of course you also get our easy-to-use Webnifty™ Auto Response Manager.


What if I want more domains?
